Travel to Berlin Germany

As crowds of people swarmed past me I wondered if I was in a dream… There I was standing in the middle of Frankfurt International Airport, totally oblivious to all the noise around me, when I was jolted back abruptly by an airport employee, trying to figure out if I was lost. Lost I was indeed, as this was my first time travelling internationally. This airport seemed almost like an endless maze... But what was worse, was that the only words that I could comprehend were, hello, thank you and goodbye. So this kind gentleman was definitely a God send, and so nicely helped me find the counter to check in for my connecting flight. Before I knew it, I was seated comfortably aboard Air Berlin, steady on my way to Tegel. The hour flew by as we flew over the quaintest houses I’d ever seen, It was all so new, so intriguing... but before I could drift away in my thoughts once again, the pilot roared over the intercom, prepare for landing! I quickly made my way to getting my luggage, so happy I was to have finally made it to my destination. And as I walked through the doors of the airport and saw my mother, it couldn’t have been better. The first thing I noticed??….the architecture…it was breathtaking!!! Never in my life had I seen such beautifully designed buildings, so tall I had to strain my neck to see the top of them, And the people? So focused were they on their destinations, I don’t believe they even noticed you were there. Ahh the feeling of antiquity, I think that’s what I loved right away. The weather? Now that was a different story… But who could complain with cute cafes and restaurants on every corner, And beautiful parks where you could walk for hours?? And the ice cream??!? Omg it was to die for!! The next two weeks were magical, from the countless shopping trips, to visiting the famous Tropical Islands, And the food? Who could complain, doner kebab was spectacular! Europe was all I had ever dreamed of, and that’s exactly why this trip felt like a beautiful dream. I couldn’t have asked for more, from riding a train for the first time, And trying frozen yogurt….. but it soon all came to an end, like it was all a blur, and it was time to say goodbye, goodbye to those breathtaking buildings, To those unforgettable train rides… And a million new experiences to last a lifetime. Enjoy a few pics from my Berlin trip below!
